Your Right to Erasure: We are committed to transparency and user privacy. You have the right to request the deletion of any personal or diagnostic data associated with your use of FaVPN.

1. Understanding Data Stored by FaVPN

Before submitting a deletion request, it helps to understand what data exists:

  • No Browsing Logs: We do not store browsing histories, visited URLs, or DNS queries. There is no internet activity log to delete because it is never recorded in the first place.
  • Local Device Cache: Preferences, selected server favorites, theme mode (Dark/Light), and cached server catalog lists are stored locally on your device in secure sandbox storage (Hive database).
  • Support Communications: If you have previously emailed us, records of your email correspondence are retained in our support inbox to manage customer service requests.

2. Immediate Local Data Deletion (On-Device)

You can permanently clear all locally cached data, favorites, and preferences at any time without waiting:

  1. Open your Android device Settings.
  2. Navigate to Apps or Application Manager.
  3. Select FaVPN.
  4. Tap Storage & Cache.
  5. Tap Clear Storage / Clear Data and confirm.

Uninstalling the application will also permanently purge all local application data and cached configurations.

3. Submitting a Remote Data Deletion Request

If you have communicated with FaVPN support and wish to have your email address, support tickets, and any associated diagnostic telemetry purged from our systems, please submit a deletion request following these steps:

  • Body: State clearly that you are requesting the permanent deletion of all personal data and support history.

4. Verification & Processing Timeline

Upon receiving your request:

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 48 hours.
  • We may verify your identity by asking you to confirm the request from the original email address.
  • All eligible personal information will be permanently deleted from our records within 30 calendar days.
  • You will receive a final confirmation email once the erasure process is complete.
