- Session Duration: Real-time elapsed time displayed in the client interface.
- Data Volume Transferred: Live byte counters (upload/download MBs) calculated locally on device.
- Network Latency (Ping): Measured to help you choose the most responsive server node.
- Operating System & App Version: Standard technical device specifications used to verify protocol compatibility.
3. Third-Party Services & Server Catalogs
FaVPN utilizes a hybrid server architecture designed for reliability and server availability:
- FaVPN Custom Servers (Railway-Managed): Dedicated custom servers synchronized dynamically via our secured backend API. Configuration profiles are delivered securely and validated atomically.
- Public OpenVPN Server Catalog: Public community relay nodes used for broad international coverage. When connecting to public nodes, your encrypted traffic is routed through standard OpenVPN endpoints.
- Public IP & Network Information: When you view the Network Information screen, the app queries standard IP diagnostic endpoints (e.g., ip-api) solely to display your active gateway status.
