What is FaVPN?
FaVPN is a mobile VPN application engineered to establish secure, encrypted virtual private network connections. It provides dynamic server selection, real-time performance telemetry, and built-in speed testing tools.
How does FaVPN work?
When you tap "Connect", FaVPN creates an encrypted OpenVPN tunnel between your device and a chosen remote server. Internet traffic passing through this tunnel is protected from local network interception.
Why should I use a VPN?
A VPN helps safeguard your data when connected to unsecured public Wi-Fi networks (such as cafes, airports, and hotels), shields your IP address from third-party websites, and reduces vulnerability to man-in-the-middle network attacks.
How do I connect to a server?
Open FaVPN, select your desired server location from the list (or keep the recommended optimal server), and tap the central Power / Connect button. The app will establish the tunnel and display "Connected" with live session metrics.
Servers & Performance
How do I choose a server?
Navigate to the "Choose a Server" screen from the navigation menu or server card. Servers are dynamically organized by country with real-time ping (latency) and speed indicators. For optimal speed, choose a location close to your geographic area with low ping.
What is a VPN speed test?
The built-in speed test measures your active VPN connection performance by calculating download throughput, upload rate, and latency directly within the app without needing external websites.
What happens if a server fails to connect?
FaVPN includes intelligent server failover logic. If your selected server is unreachable or offline, the app automatically attempts to find and connect to the next best responsive server in the same country.
Privacy & Data Handling
What information does FaVPN collect?
FaVPN processes technical device information necessary to establish and maintain the VPN session (such as OS version and basic diagnostic telemetry). For full details on data handling, refer to our official Privacy Policy.
Does FaVPN store my browsing activity?
No. FaVPN does not log, monitor, or sell your private browsing history, visited URLs, or DNS queries made through the VPN tunnel.
